Infectious and tropical diseases

The Infectious and Tropical Diseases Clinic focuses on infectious diseases, which involves studying the pathophysiology, prevention, diagnosis and treatment of infectious diseases, both community-acquired and hospital-acquired (nosocomial). The Infectious and Tropical Diseases Department at Erasme Hospital is a centre accredited by the Ministry of Health and is therefore referred to as the “Travel Clinic”.
